ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a General Maintenance Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.   Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, doors: interior and exterior, painting, is required. 1st shift position 6am to 2:30pm. No weekend work.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, instrumentation, and other equipment, systems or structures  Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities  Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary  

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older  Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available. A valid State Drivers License is required. Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools. Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks. Must posses organizational skills. Must be able to perform unsupervised.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Customer Service Experience  1 yr of similar work experience
