Responsibilities Checks all electrical, lighting, and temperature control systems to ensure they are functioning properly at all timesPerforms maintenance duties throughout the casinoFixes machinery throughout the casinoMakes sure property is kept in best condition possibleMaintains a safe and clean work environmentPaints the propertyOperates lifts in a safe manner to perform job dutiesHelps maintain the exterior of the propertyReports any failures in all casino lighting fixtures, electrical systems, or temperature control unitsOther projects and duties as assignedMust be able to lift heavy itemsMust be able to bend, kneel, stoop, stand and walk for duration of shiftMust be able to work from a ladderThis position requires a great deal of work from heightsMust be mobile in all areas of the casino; and have the ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality Qualifications General Knowledge of Repairs on but not limited to Wood furniture, Carpet, DryWall, Paint, Plumbing, ElectricalMust be able to obtain and maintain OSHA safety certificationsAbility to operate power and hand tools requiredAbility to work from schematics, blue prints, sketches, or verbal directions
