We are seeking a diligent General Maintenance Tech to ensure the functionality of mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities include responding to house calls via phone or radio, assisting with repairs, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas. The role involves filling out daily work forms, understanding fire alarm procedures and hotel regulations, and contributing to property-wide mechanical maintenance. Additionally, the Tech will demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of the Engineering department, maintain property pools as directed, and undertake special projects assigned by the Supervisor. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using various plumbing and heating hand tools and equipment and capable of working in diverse environments, including exposure to extreme temperatures and hazardous chemicals.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:
Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas.Receive direction for house calls via phone or radio.Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.Clean all work areas after completing job.Fill out Daily Work form.Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.Maintain all mechanicals property wide. Knowledge of all aspects of the Engineering dept. Maintain property pools as directed by CPO. Special projects as assigned by Supervisor.Tools and Equipment:

Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel.
