**Job Title: General Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician I position will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all machines and equipment assigned. You must be able to perform a variety of duties requiring a high degree of responsibility, skill, knowledge, training, and experience. The position is expected to work with minimal supervision or direction to complete projects and assignments. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, identify problems, and repair machines. + Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly. + Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. + Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hand or power tools. + Support fabrication of machine components and fixtures or support the repairs and improvements of mechanical devices which support the production departments. + Perform other duties as assigned, such as fabricating, welding, milling, and lathe work. + Support the evaluation, troubleshooting, and implementation of corrective actions of complex electric controls, on both microprocessor and relay designs. **Essential Skills** + Preventive maintenance + Schematic interpretation + Mechanically inclined + Mechanical troubleshooting + Machine repair + Lean manufacturing + Tool recognition **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1 year of experience with industrial maintenance required + Production/Manufacturing background + Ability to comprehend and follow instructions + Ability to work independently in a team environment + Experience with woodworking machines, lathe, mills, and panel saws preferred **Why Work Here?** Our company values a collaborative and supportive work environment where employees can thrive. You will be working around equipment and machinery. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
