SUMMARY

BSPS, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified General Maintenance Worker for 29 Palms MCAGCC BOS Contract. This individual will support the 29 Palms MCAGCC BOS contract and provide basic day to day maintenance throughout the installation.

Generator MaintenanceGeneral maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as: PaintingCarpentryPlumbingMasonryElectrical WorkReplacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, lightsUse of plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery. Qualifications

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)

Two (2) years experience as a general maintenance worker or similarHigh Scholl Diploma or equivalentValid California Drivers License           

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Basic knowledge of general maintenance (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc)Basic knowledge of troubleshootingGood customer service, people skills
