\n \n Job Description

The General Manager is an on-site position that is a liaison to the homeowners, residents, vendors, board members, committee members, and Associa staff in various internal departments.

\n

\n

Duties include but are not limited to:

\n\nImplement Board policy and directives within thescope of the management agreement. Works with the board on strategic initiatives, policygovernance and association projects.\nSupervise all administration staff at the community.\nEmployee hiring, training, supervising, and performance management.\nPrepare schedules and establish priorities for routine and special work projects.\nCreate annual budget.\nOversee the administration of the various functions of the community within the projectedand approved operating budget.\nAct as a liaison between the Board of Directorsand residents in the execution of the established policies and the conveyance of residentgrievances.\nWork as a liaison between the Board and legalcounsel, as well as the Board and the Board Advisory Committees.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\n2 + years of community association experience.\nWell-versed in condominium association management.\nKnowledge of the Association Board of Directors, the General Manager, and how those roles interface with the requests of homeowners.\nCMCA, AMS, or PCAM preferred.\nCustomer service driven and team oriented with a consultative approach when assisting others.\nConfident in experience and collaborative spirit.\nStrong financial acumen, ability to read and interpret financials, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Operating Expenses, Reserves, Delinquency Reports, Variance Analysis.\nEffective project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in various stages of completion and communicate with all parties involved.\nExcellent communication skills (written and oral) and conflict resolution techniques.\n\n
