We are a fast-paced and high growth organization looking for a leader to help us scale and optimize our operational capabilities in Bangladesh. As part of our strategic growth plan, we are seeking a talented and experienced General Manager to lead our Bangladesh operations. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our organizational strategy forward by leveraging Bangladesh resources to enhance execution capacity and achieve key business outcomes. This role requires a visionary leader who can connect the company’s global objectives with the Bangladesh strategy, while maintaining operational excellence and financial efficiency.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Leadership Develop and Execute Bangladesh Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of the Bangladesh strategy and annual plan to meet both company-wide and local financial and operational objectives.Investment Alignment: Utilize business investment cases to ensure all investments in Bangladesh align with corporate goals and maximize business outcomes.Overall Operations Measurement: Track and report results against annual and quarterly goals, ensuring Bangladesh’s operations contribute effectively to the overall success of the company.Team Builder & Culture Leader Expand Execution Bandwidth: Help us to expand brand presence in order to ensure talent acquisition efforts result in our hiring high-performing candidates, ensuring that the Bangladesh team is fully equipped to meet global business demands.Culture & Engagement: Foster a psychologically safe environment that empowers a high-performing and engaged workforce, ensuring Bangladesh operations achieve optimal performance.Retention: Minimize regrettable voluntary turnover by nurturing a positive work environment and addressing team challenges proactively.Operational LeadershipTeam Performance: Act as a pacesetter for the Bangladesh workforce, fostering collaboration across teams to meet and exceed quarterly and annual goals.Performance Management: Utilize talent planning resources to ensure high-potential employees are developed and low performers are addressed in a timely manner.Continuous Improvement: Ensure effective strategies are in place to manage and measure performance. \Financial StewardshipCost Management: Oversee financial performance in Bangladesh, ensuring all expenses are aligned with approved benchmarks, maximizing cost efficiency without compromising operational output.Budget Accountability: Manage Bangladesh’s financials to meet or exceed cost performance targets while contributing to overall corporate profitability.Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years business experience with at least 5 in a leadership role.Previous experience leading Bangladesh operations in a multinational organization, preferably tech-focused, that achieved notable growth and scale.Proven leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager, Country Leader, or similar role, overseeing operations in Bangladesh or a similar market.Strong background in operational strategy, financial management, and business growth.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Excellent talent management skills, with a history of building and maintaining high-performing teams.Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.Track record of driving organizational growth while managing costs effectively.Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.US educated or experience working for a US-based organization preferred.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and qualification.Gratuity benefit.Medical Insurance.Field Nation LLC Performance Reward.
