Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies for air, ocean, and contract logistics (CL) products, ensuring service delivery excellence and optimization of processes.Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, nurturing strong relationships and maintaining clear communication throughout service delivery cycles. Enhance customer satisfaction through personalized engagement and effective issue resolution.Market Expertise & Vendor Management: Leverage deep knowledge of the Singapore logistics market, utilizing an established local network to manage vendors effectively. Oversee negotiations, vendor performance, and handle escalations to ensure high service standards.Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams across air, ocean, and contract logistics operations. Provide guidance to improve team performance and foster professional growth.Process Improvement & Innovation: Continuously analyze operational performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation in logistics products and services. Implement best practices and solutions to drive operational efficiency and client satisfaction.Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of general management experience and 10+ years in the logistics market, with a proven track record in air, ocean, and contract logistics (CL) product operations. Strong history of managing client relationships and operational excellence.Operational Expertise: Extensive experience overseeing and optimizing air, ocean, and CL product logistics. Expertise in managing large-scale logistics operations and driving process improvements.Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Singapore logistics market with a strong local network. Proven ability to engage with vendors and navigate industry-specific challenges, including regulatory and compliance requirements.Client Relationship Management: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
