Sodexo is seeking a hands-on General Manager 2 with a strong culinary background to oversee a multi-concept retail café and catering operation at a corporate office in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role combines leadership with a strong culinary focus, as we are looking for a Chef to manage both the food service operations and a team of 5 non-union frontline employees. With total unit responsibility, you will ensure exceptional customer service, maintain operational efficiency, and oversee nearly $1 million in annual managed volume.
In addition, this General Manager will be responsible for managing purchasing and compliance for the region and must have a strong financial background to support with budgeting, cost control, quarterly business reviews, and purchasing throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage operations, analyzing data to drive performance improvements and ensure contract guarantees are met.Act as lead forControl costs and increase revenue through budget management, financial analysis, and expense tracking.Oversee culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation while focusing on innovation and health and wellness offerings.Supervise and mentor staff to meet Sodexo objectives, maintain service quality, and promote workplace diversity.Plan and execute special events and functions, maintain cost control, and oversee payroll records.Develop and implement strategic plans to support account retention and growth.The ideal candidate for this position will have:
