Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager 3, Food for Birmingham Green located in Manassas, Virginia.  Birmingham Greene is home to approximately 250 assisted living and skilled care residents.  The General Manager will oversee daily dining operations and will manage one manager and a total of approximately 30 hourly employees.  At Sodexo Senior Living, residents are the heart of everything we do. What You'll Do have oversight of daily dining operations with a strong focus on delivering high quality food service to our values residents;mentor and build an exceptional team; oversee training of staff; implement Sodexo systems and programs; continuously evaluates service to ensure resident and client satisfaction;achieve company and client financial targets and goals. What You Bring three or more years previous food service management experience ideally in a senior living or healthcare environment;culinary knowledge is helpful with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;a work history demonstrating strong leadership and hospitality skills and the ability to work collaboratively;knowledge of compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards; solid financial acumen, with knowledge of operating budgets, food ordering, inventory, employee scheduling and menu development.  Who We Are
