Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 for the Unites States Marine Corps, located in Quantico, VA. This is a high profile operation that is a component of a very high volume, high prestige, US Military contract. Operation is located in the Quantico Virginia area and provides 7 day per week service, 3 meals per day, 365 days per year. Operation(s) is cafeteria style service providing main entrees, vegetables, salad option, and grill items to Marines.
What You'll Do Be a people person with a strong focus with maintaining positive client relations; a solid manager/leader who is perceptive and has attention to details that make a difference – quality and presentation of food – customer service –Be SERVICE focused– including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming dining environment.Be proficient in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory;Demonstrate proven financial acumen/success: Food costs/ labor costs, budgets. What You Bring have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement and leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; have a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; have high volume food service experience;have experience managing staff in a union environment, preferred;can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and have a passion for a high level of customer service; and/orprioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
