\n \n Job Description

A General Manager (typically on-site) is responsible for supervising the administrative support staff of the Community Association assigned. The General Manager will oversee the various departments within the Community Association including Food & Beverage, Facilities Maintenance, Custodial, Landscaping, Lifestyle, etc. The General Manager will interact with residents, vendors, board members and committee members, as well as staff at the Associa Client Shared Service Center (CSSC) and within the branch office.

\n Requirements

Duties include but are not limited to:

\n\nImplement Board policy and directives within the scope of the management agreement. Works with the board on strategic initiatives, policy governance and association projects.\nSupervise all administration staff at the community.\nEmployee hiring, training, supervising, and performance management.\nPrepares schedules and establishes priorities for routine and special work projects.\nPrepares annual budget.\nAdministers the various functions of the community within the projected and approved operating budget.\nAct as a liaison between the Board of Directors and residents in the execution of the established policies and the conveyance of resident grievances.\nWork as a liaison between the Board and legal counsel, as well as the Board and the Board Advisory Committees.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

Knowledge and Skills

\n\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of the Association Board of Directors, the General Manager, and how those roles interface with the requests of homeowners.\nKnowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n

Education and Experience

\n\nAssociate degree Required.\nBachelor’s degree Preferred.\n3 – 5 years of directly related or closely related experience.\n3 – 5 years of Community Association experience.\n0 – 3 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience.\n\n

Certifications or Licenses

\n\nIndustry Specific License.\nLocation Specific License.\n\n

\n

Working Conditions

\n\nTypical office environment.\nJob location is in Aguanga, CA, only a short drive from Temecula.\n\n

Wage Range: $85k - $100k annually depending on experience.
