General Manager

Responsible for all aspects of the management of MG-International Smoke, LLC. Oversees management staff.  Coordinates the planning, organization, and training necessary to achieve restaurant objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, communication and awareness, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, and sanitation.

P&L/GL

Review P&L /ensure accuracyReview GL/ensure accuracyIdentify improvement areas and devise remedies for improvement.Complete P&L review the same day P&L is finalDistribute P&L Review to specified distribution listFollow-through with solutions on variable cost issuesResponsible for Monthly P&L Review

Budget

Completes annual budget and presents to Finance and OpsApproves and agrees after finance has reviewed

Cost Control

Takes all appropriate measures to ensure that all variable costs are in line with budget

Daily Flash

Supervise the accurate completion of the Daily FlashSend to specified distribution listResponds to immediate cost control issues

Daily Meetings

Prepare for Daily MeetingsParticipate in Daily MeetingsConduct Daily Meetings at specified timeHold all staff accountable for executing their tasks 

Marketing

Complete/Update Sales and Marketing Plan MonthlyFollow-through on all self assigned tasksDistribute to specified Distribution ListWork with Mina Group to generate new ideasWork with Chef and Sommelier to promote special dinnersEstablish and maintain Concierge programEstablish and maintain Community outreachEstablish and maintain Grass roots plans

PR

Designated point person for all PR related events and requestsApproves all PR requests with MMAttends and represents MG on all PR events related to International SmokeCoordinates all PR events/requests in International Smoke

Partner Communications

Designated point person for all communication between International Smoke and business partners with regards to issues or concernsEnsures information requested is received in a timely fashionAttends all requested meetingsCompsResponsible for all compsApproves all comps  Enforces written and approved Comp procedure for The Mina Group restaurantControls all comps and ensures budget compliance

HR

Supervises, manages and mentors AGM on all HR mattersParticipates in all Disciplinary Actions

Weekly Manager Meeting

Ensures WMM takes place every week at specified timeIncludes all specified personnel (including Mina Group) in WMMEnsures information is accurate and up to dateConducts WMM and holds management team accountable for delivering results on assigned tasks.Follows up with status of  all tasks at next meeting until completionEnsures notes get distributed to specified distribution list

Inventory Control

Ensures all inventories are turned in at specified timeEnsures accuracy of monthly and weekly inventoriesEnsures security of all inventoryEnsures consistency of inventory procedure and communication to new managers regarding SOPs.Ensures inventory levels are at budget compliance

Purchasing

Approves all purchasesInsures receipt, cost accuracy

Service

Directs service at International SmokeEnsures level of service is executed to high standards nightlyCompletes employee reviews

Management

Directs all FOH Management in International SmokeResponsible for Supervision/Execution of all FOH Management Job DutiesMina Group CommunicationOpen and clear communication with CorporateComplaint lettersConducts thorough investigation of guest complaint and finds resolutionFollows up with guest immediately after the complaint is received (within 24 hours)Track complaints for future reference

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly oversees all restaurant management. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 8-10 years’ of service experience, preferably in a fine dining environment.Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with a variety of business partners, guests, colleagues, direct reports.Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.Prior experience with accounting software, POS systems, and payroll/HRIS systems. 

Salary Range - $80,000 to $85,000 with 10% Bonus Opportunity
