Job Description
The TownePlace Suites by Marriott - Estero/Fort Myers (Via Coconut Pt), managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN General Manager.
The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage operations.
Responsibilities:
+ Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments are running smoothly and efficiently
+ Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction
+ Manage and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service
+ Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability
+ Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
+ Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
+ Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
+ Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
+ Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that all employees are informed and up-to-date on hotel policies and procedures

Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management
+ Strong leadership and management skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
+ Knowledge of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage operations
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
