**Job Description: General Manager**
Are you a driven leader passionate about team development, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence? Our client is looking for a **General Manager** to oversee the daily operations of one of our corporate-owned restaurants, ensuring it runs profitably while meeting our high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
**Key Responsibilities**
As the General Manager, you’ll lead a team of department and shift managers, driving success in several critical areas:
**People Processes**
+ Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent.
+ Oversee staffing and performance management.
+ Train, coach, and motivate employees to excel in their roles.
**Business Decisions**
+ Plan and make informed decisions about inventory, budget, and food ordering.
+ Manage food costs effectively to drive profitability.
**Food and Guest Safety**
+ Ensure all food safety measures are consistently met.
+ Maintain a safe environment for employees and guests.
**Operational Oversight**
+ Oversee all operational aspects of the restaurant, including creating and implementing maintenance plans.
+ Work with leadership to set restaurant goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
**Leadership and Coaching**
+ Guide department managers in setting and achieving their individual goals.
+ Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and direction to improve overall performance.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, candidates should bring:
+ Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume location.
+ A background in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail.
+ Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and engagement.
+ Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
