Job Summary
General Manager
Location: Renton, WA
Competitive Salary + 30% Bonus Potential
As a General Manager, you will lead and oversee the operations of the account while maintaining budget compliance and meeting client expectations. Your role is critical in fostering strong relationships with employees, guests, clients, and other departments, ensuring a seamless and successful operation. You will also focus on the professional development of your team and the integration of the dining service department within the facility’s overall plan of operations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee daily operations of a high-volume café and catering services.
+ Manage client relationships and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
+ Supervise and develop a professional and motivated team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Maintain food quality standards while managing costs and adhering to budgets.
+ Build and sustain strong relationships with staff, clients, guests, and other departments.
+ Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, budgets, and forecasts.
+ Develop and analyze financial trends to meet company objectives.
+ Manage purchasing, inventory controls, and menu planning in collaboration with chefs.
+ Enforce HACCP standards, ensuring proper food storage and usage.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
+ 8-10 years of upscale food service experience, with at least 6 years in management roles.
+ Proven experience managing high-volume café and catering operations.
+ Strong financial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
+ Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to meet organizational goals while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
+ Expertise in food purchasing, cost control, and inventory management.
+ Experience in budget creation, financial reporting, and forecasting.
+ Knowledge of HACCP standards, health regulations, and fire safety compliance.
+ Strong catering experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
