Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented General Manager - Food Service & Conference Services to join our prestigious team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of dining, catering, and event operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and financial success. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, budget management, and ensuring seamless coordination between food & beverage services and conference operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
+ Oversee all operational facets of food and beverage outlets and conference services, including a grab-and-go market with coffee offerings, conference catering and events for a multi-tenant building, and a public-facing breakfast and lunch eatery. Ensure seamless execution, exceptional guest experiences, and operational efficiency across all areas.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for all hospitality services and events within the space, building strong client relationships and exceeding expectations.
+ Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement specialized experiences that drive tenant engagement and enhance utilization of the space.
+ Manage the vendor partnership with fitness facilities vendor to ensure they are collectively meeting the expectations of mutual client.
Team Leadership & Development:
+ Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of culinary and service professionals fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
+ Train and develop team members to deliver exceptional service, exceeding client expectations at every touchpoint.
+ Empower team members to take ownership of their roles and contribute to the success of the operation.
Financial Management:
+ Oversee all financial aspects of an over $2 million operation, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue management.
+ Drive revenue and profitability for food & beverage outlets and conference services through strategic pricing, product mix, and promotional initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant financial policies and procedures.
Guest Experience:
+ Create unforgettable hospitality experiences for clients and guests by exceeding their expectations at every turn.
+ Leverage creativity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of guest preferences to curate engaging and personalized experiences that elevate overall satisfaction.
+ Proactively gather and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement and continuously enhance the guest experience.
Quality Assurance:
+ Maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance across all aspects of the operation.
+ Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines.
+ Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any potential issues.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in conference services, food & beverage, or a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
+ Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and event planning tools.
+ A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create unforgettable experiences for clients.
+ A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
