Overview
TA Hampton Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead operations at one of our Marriott hotel properties. The ideal candidate has at least two years of leadership experience in a midscale hotel and a strong passion for hospitality.
In this role, you will motivate, coach, and develop your team, oversee daily operations, and implement strategic initiatives to drive revenue and guest satisfaction. You will also be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing sales strategies, and achieving outstanding financial results.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest and associate experiences.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with TA Hampton Group's operational policies and procedures.
• Set clear goals for team members, provide constructive feedback, and recognize achievements.
• Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitability while maintaining guest and staff satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting to both the property and corporate office.
• Take responsibility in ensuring hotel’s compliance with Marriott’s Brand Standards.
• Uphold a culture of integrity, professionalism, and collaboration within the team.
• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring alignment with TA Hampton Group’s mission and core values.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of five years of hotel operations experience.
• At least two years in a General Manager or senior leadership role.
• Experience with Marriott is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Results-driven mindset with a commitment to excellence.
• High level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ), self-awareness, and relationship management skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adaptability.
