Job Description\n
FLSA Status: Exempt\n
Summary Directs and controls the administration of a manufacturing plant. Plans, develops and implements goals in conformance with operational procedures and authorities given by the regional and\/or corporate office. Directly responsible for profit\/loss of the manufacturing plant.\n
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nLead our team of CHAMPIONS to achieve a strong positive plant culture with safe operations.\n\n\nCoordinate activities of divisions or departments such as operating, manufacturing, human resources, engineering, planning, sales, maintenance, or research and development, to effect operational efficiency and economy.\nAnalyze the effectiveness of the operation and take prompt corrective action. Review Customer Satisfaction Investigation reports and service backlogs. Takes corrective action as needed.\nAnalyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, and allocate the operating budget. Review shipments of homes and accounts receivables to ensure a consistent cash flow and reduction or elimination of past due accounts.\nEnsure that the operation conforms to local and national government regulations.\nPlan and develop the growth of the operation. Look for opportunities to expand. Do a market evaluation of competitors.\nReviews manufacturing Continuous Improvement processes with CI Manager and Production Supervisors. Evaluates progress and appropriate actions needed.\nConfers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.\nPromotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations.\nActively participate in succession planning to grow future leaders for our company.\n\n
Supervisory Responsibilities \n
Directly supervises Managers and Supervisors within the division. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.\n

Education and\/or Experience \n
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five plus years of related experience and\/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in manufacturing\/modular housing desired\n
Other Qualifications \n
Must be able to travel periodically if required.\n
Six sigma\/continuous improvement experience is a plus\n
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required \n
