The hotel is within walking distance of Old Town’s restaurants, shops, and major cultural landmarks such as Piata Unirii and St. Michael’s Church. With complimentary hot breakfast, WiFi, parking, a fully equipped fitness center, and an inviting bar offering snacks and drinks, the property provides a well-rounded hospitality experience.
\nThe Role
\nThis exciting General Manager position will be responsible for managing the hotel, Hotel Management team, and hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while managing profitability and meeting our Owners expectations.

What will you be doing?
\n\n
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nManage and lead the hotel operation\nManage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue, guest satisfaction and Team Member engagement goals are met and exceeded\nLead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment\nEnsure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel and Hilton\nDeliver achievable hotel budgets, and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the property\nProvide exceptional leadership to hotel Team Members focusing on Hilton culture and values\nLead in all aspects of business planning\nComply with and exceed Hilton Brand Service Standards\nEnsure costs are controlled\nManage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within Hilton\nHold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team\nRespond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved \nWhat are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with a strong focus on Owner relations, Commercial and Operations, guest experience, Team Member engagement and display Hamptonality.
\nA General Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
\n\nAn Established General Manager in a similar type of hotel with strong commercial background preferred.\nA hands-on leader, supporting the operations as required. \nStrong ability to collaborate and foster networks and relationships, with owners, corporates and leisure partners – you must be highly visible. \nDeliver innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability.\nExceptional people leadership and retention of talent with the ability to bring a team together on a journey and instilling the Hilton culture and values\nExceptional stakeholder/owner relations experience\nAbility to show resilience, judgement and leadership\nExperience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar sized property\nIn-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector\nDegree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent\nFluency in Romanian and English language mandatory, additional Hungarian would be a benefit. \n\nWhat is it like working for Hilton?
