The Property

Hilton Garden Inn Safranbolu offers a unique opportunity for a General Manager to lead a contemporary hotel in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located within walking distance of Safranbolu’s historic center and just minutes from key attractions, our hotel blends modern hospitality with rich cultural heritage. With 300-guest event space, a restaurant, a 24-hour snack shop, and leisure facilities including a fitness center and outdoor pool, this role presents an exciting chance to drive exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence in a dynamic market.

The Role

\n

This exciting General Manager position will be responsible for managing the operations of the hotel, Hotel Management team, hotel targets to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while managing profitability and meeting our Owners expectations.  

\n

What will you be doing?

\n

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nManage and lead hotel operation.\nManage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue, guest satisfaction and Team Member engagement goals are met and exceeded.\nLead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment.\nEnsure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel and Hilton.\nDeliver achievable hotel budgets, and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the property.\nProvide exceptional leadership to hotel Team Members focusing on Hilton culture and values.\nLead in all aspects of business planning.\nComply with and exceed Hilton Brand Service Standards.\nEnsure costs are controlled.\nManage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within Hilton.\nHold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team.\nRespond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.\n

What are we looking for?

\n

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with a strong focus on Owner relations, Commercial and Operations, guest experience and Team Member engagement. Enthusiastic and passionate, you will have current or previous experience as a General Manager within a similar quality hotel and ideally with hotel openings experience.

\n

A General Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

\n\nAn Established GM with international brand experience and a high level of commerciality.\nStrong ability to collaborate and foster networks and relationships, with owners, contractors, and corporates – must be highly visible.\nDeliver innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability especially in the MICE business.\nExceptional people leadership and retention of talent with the ability to bring a team together on a journey and instilling the Hilton culture and values.\nExceptional stakeholder/owner relations experience.\nAbility to show resilience, judgement and leadership.\nExperience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar sized property.\nIn-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector.\nDegree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.\nEnglish and Turkish language mandatory.\n\n
