\nOne of the largest resorts in the Middle East, Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is an unparalleled destination offering world-class facilities and bespoke services for today’s luxury leisure travellers. Sprawling across 3.5 kms of prime coastline, the resort offers 361 accommodations, the largest water park in Qatar-Desert Falls Water and Adventure Park, more than 20 restaurants showcasing global flavours, a beach club, swimming pools, a marina, luxury spa and a health club.
\nThe Role
\nThis exciting General Manager position will be responsible for managing the hotel operations, the Hotel Management team, and ensuring to deliver on hotel targets, to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while managing profitability and meeting our Owners expectations.
\nWhat will you be doing?
\nSpecifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nManage and lead the lead hotel operation.\nManage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue, guest satisfaction and Team Member engagement goals are met and exceeded.\nLead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment.\nEnsure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel and Hilton.\nDeliver achievable hotel budgets and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the property.\nProvide exceptional leadership to hotel Team Members focusing on Hilton culture and values.\nLead in all aspects of business planning.\nComply with and exceed Hilton Brand Service Standards.\nEnsure costs are controlled.\nManage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within Hilton.\nHold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team.\nRespond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.\n\nWhat are we looking for?
\nThe ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with a strong focus on Owner relations, Commercial and Operations, guest experience and Team Member engagement. Enthusiastic and passionate, you will ideally have current experience as a General Manager within a hotel resort environment including Villas.
\nA General Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\n\nAn Established GM with strong international brand experience with resort hotel experience.\nExperience managing a portfolio of villas and complex operations will be an advantage.\nStrong ability to collaborate and foster networks and relationships, with owners, contractors, corporates, and Tour Operators – must be highly visible.\nDemonstrable experience in delivering innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability especially within Resorts.\nDynamic and proactive approach with solid experience as an agent of change.\nExceptional people leadership and retention of talent with the ability to bring a team together on a journey and instilling the Hilton culture and values.\nExceptional stakeholder/owner relations experience with demonstrable influencing skills.\nAbility to show resilience, judgement and leadership.\nExperience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar resort style property.\nProven experience in delivering results with an eye for details and quality.\nExperience in GCC will be an advantage.\nDegree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.\nEnglish language mandatory, Arabic would be an advantage.\n\nWhat is it like working for Hilton?
