The primary role of the DC General Manager I is to effectively manage all functional areas within a small to medium size DC Operation that services Combo, Retail or Business Direct channels, including: receiving, stocking, inventory control, production, loading, administration, etc..; Directly manages Operations Managers and indirectly manages multiple groups of hourly associates involved in these operations.; Develops / maintains relationships with Retail and Business direct customers, insuring that both internal and external customers receive the highest level of service that can be provided.; Makes decisions on issues relating to effective and efficient operations of all functional areas, in partnership with HR, LP and Corporate Support Teams.; Builds a strong associate work team and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or logistics management, or equivalent, preferred
Minimum of; 7+ years supervisory or management experience required.; Prior experience managing, multi-function facilities and high-volume production, inventory and transportation environments.; Experience with mainframe-based warehouse management applications and PC based business tools. ; Experience with Lean and Six Sigma processes or other continuous improvement methodologies. Experienced with managing both full time and contingent work forces. ERP implementation experience and prior project management experience a plus.

Base compensation range minimum $98,600K to maximum $150K depending on experience.
