Job Summary The Furniture Retail Store General Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences and achievement of sales and profitability goals. This role involves managing daily operations, leading and motivating staff, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The General Manager also develops strategies to drive revenue growth, enhances store merchandising, and fosters a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and monitor sales performance and profitability. + Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, ensuring high morale and productivity. + Implement merchandising strategies to enhance the store’s visual appeal. + Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers and employees. + Resolve customer issues and maintain high satisfaction levels. + Prepare sales reports and communicate with upper management regarding store performance. + Stay updated on furniture industry trends and competitors.
