General Manager People Culture & Wellbeing (PCW) Automotive

An opportunity exists for a passionate and results-driven People & Culture professional to join GPC Asia Pacific.  You will lead a team of Business Partners to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

Focus areas include:

Partnering: Work with the Automotive Australia leadership teams including NAPA and Repco to deliver strategic and operational PCW support and initiatives

Strategy: Work with the GPC Asia Pacific People Leadership Team to update the multi-year PCW strategic plan annually, including ensuring applicability to the Automotive Australia strategy, budget requirements are captured, and stakeholders are engaged

People Support Services:  Partner with PCW CoE’s to ensure customer focused, solutions-driven, and efficient centralised PCW support to Automotive across the full employment lifecycle (including recruitment, ER issues, payroll, compensation and safety)

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure ER /IR issues are dealt with effectively, coaching managers and providing support and guidance to business partners

Provide expertise on HR best practices to guide business stakeholders on matters such as performance management, retention, talent and engagement, including implement robust succession, talent and workforce planning to ensure a strong pipeline across key positions to support future needs

Provide appropriate change management support for key initiatives to land the change with excellence

Develop and implement PCW initiatives aligned with the Automotive Australia business initiatives including talent, employee experience and engagement, wellbeing, performance, rewards, DE&I and culture

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business or related HR discipline desirable

Demonstrated experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in a retail/trade environment

Customer centric, people focused and passionate about delivering commercial and consultative people solutions

Experience leading a high performing team that delivers customer focused solutions with collaboration and teamwork

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
