Our Oral Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing facility in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France, is at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation and excellence, driving significant growth and setting new industry standards.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP for Drug Product EU/APAC, the General Manager will be responsible for leading our OSD manufacturing facility. This central role involves growing the OSD business, collaborating with corporate strategy teams, and influencing investment strategies. By combining exceptional market awareness with a deep understanding of customer needs, you will successfully complete critical initiatives and drive groundbreaking change.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish a five-year growth strategy with specific SMART yearly goals.Collaborate with operational, technical, and business leaders to deploy site strategies.Find opportunities to exceed performance goals, improve margins, and decrease working capital.Expand services to current clients and introduce new clients into the network.Provide groundbreaking leadership and drive process improvements.Attract and retain premier talent.Ensure compliance with customers and regulatory authorities.Manage Labor Relations in collaboration with the Site HR Leader.Connect with counterparts in other OSD sites and support site teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Pharmaceutical or scientific field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.10+ years of experience in people management and leading large teams.Proven strategic and operational expertise in a regulated manufacturing environment.Experience handling site or large department P&L.Ability to collaborate with commercial departments to develop business.Demonstrated experience in building customer relationships.Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire change and foster cohesive teams.Expert in Operational Excellence.Proficient in English and French; knowledge of the French social system preferred.

Physical Requirements:

This role may require occasional travel and the ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment.
