Stellar Manufacturing is a contract manufacturer of solid particle products and specializes in chemical processing services such as specialty tableting, compaction granulation, and granular filling. Job Overview:

The Stellar General Manager will oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives related to safety, quality, innovation, efficiency, and profitability. This role requires a strategic leader with P&L experience who can manage cross-functional teams, optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.  In addition, this candidate will have strong operational expertise with a focus on KPIs, safety, innovation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics. Develop and implement strategies to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Align production schedules with sales forecasts to ensure on-time delivery and effective inventory management. Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives to improve overall profitability. Manage operational budgets, including labor, materials, maintenance, and utilities, to maintain financial discipline. Foster a safety-driven work environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments. Monitor key KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), defect rates, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover. Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Lead and mentor teams to foster a high-performance culture and develop team members' skills. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and promote operational excellence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Chemistry, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in the pool or chemical industry. Proven experience managing P&L with a successful track record of meeting financial and operational goals. Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs and continuous improvement methodologies. Expertise in safety management, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work cross-functionally, aligning diverse teams toward common objectives.
