Pratt & Whitney’s Aftermarket Operations organization has an opportunity for General Manager to lead our Tooling Support Services (TSS) business. This is a highly visible senior leadership role, reporting to the VP, North America Aftermarket Operations. In addition to this role, the Aftermarket Operations organization includes 5 North America repair sites, 2 engine centers and line maintenance services.
The General Manager of TSS is responsible for managing the procurement and sale of engine overhaul tooling to internal and external customers and is the P&L owner of this business. TSS employs 25 across customer service, procurement, quality and warehouse operations. The General Manager of this site is responsible for all aspects of Operations, Quality, EHS, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Materials, Customer Service, and Facilities with supporting partnerships with Human Resources and Finance.
What You Will Do:
+ Lead a direct, cross-functional team of ~3-4 leaders who provide leadership and direction to their team(s) with an emphasis on team collaboration through effective connections and communications.
+ Responsible for $100M P&L; establish operational and financial objectives for business unit
+ Ensure achievement of KPIs, including sales, EBIT, cost, quality and on-time delivery. Oversee the execution of operations and projects to meet established targets and metrics
+ Identify key issues affecting operations and implement problem resolution strategies through team. Develop and implement continuous improvement plans to ensure robust processes are in place
+ Oversight of the Quality Management activities associated with the tooling products procured from suppliers. Oversight of the quoting and ordering process with customers. Management of tooling inventory
+ Support EH&S initiatives and comply with all applicable regulatory rules
+ Develop and maintain positive relationship with customers and partners
+ Demonstrate ethical leadership and compliance
+ Use employee survey results to drive employee engagement and improvement efforts. Development of talent within the organization. Support a culture and workforce of employees who can go beyond to work, grow, and belong. Develop key personnel to maintain continued organizational strength and succession
+ Interface closely with other Aftermarket Operations disciplines (Finance, Operations, etc.) to ensure alignment on key business initiatives.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of experience to include direct people leadership, employee development, P&L oversight and customer relationship management. OR an Advanced degree and 10 years of relevant experience to include direct people leadership, employee development, P&L oversight and customer relationship management

Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Aviation or Aerospace experience
+ Aftermarket operations experience
+ Senior leadership P&L experience including cost, budget, and project management responsibilities
+ Forecasting and/or planning experience – financial, headcount, etc.
+ Experience leading teams across multiple functional disciplines
+ DOT and FAA regulatory experience
+ SAP software familiarity

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
