As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in assembling and installing modular units at various job sites, contributing to the future of construction with cutting-edge techniques that streamline building processes and reduce waste.
Z Modular is seeking skilled and reliable General/Mateline Constructors to join our dynamic team. You will be working on our Greater Phoenix job sites, assisting in the construction and assembly of modular units.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate hand and power tools to assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of modular units.Install components and fixtures according to project specifications at construction sites.Perform finishing, repair work, and preparation of surfaces.Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.Communicate material needs and any issues to supervisors.Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.Maintain full-time, predictable attendance as an essential part of the role.Work Hours:
General hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (subject to change based on jobsite needs).Weekends: May be required, particularly on Saturdays.Overtime: 1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours worked. Current workload requires 50-55 hours per week.Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $23.00/hour, based on experience.Overtime: 1.5x regular pay for hours worked beyond 40 hours per week.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.Experience in a construction environment is preferred.Familiarity with hand and power tools.Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and stand for extended periods.Commitment to safety standards.Work Environment:
Work is conducted at various job sites in the Greater Phoenix area, with exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and dust.Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, and safety glasses will be provided and must be worn.If you are a hardworking individual with a commitment to quality and safety, we want to hear from you!
