**Job Title: General Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Technician to support our plant operations. This role involves maintaining the condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools, supporting process safety management, and conducting seasonal preparatory work including annual preventative maintenance repairs and improvements. **Responsibilities** + Support plant operations and ensure smooth functionality. + Maintain the condition of the plant shop and maintenance tools. + Support process safety management and location safety efforts. + Conduct seasonal prep work including annual preventative maintenance repairs and improvements. + Assure proper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment, machines, and facilities. + Complete grounds and facility maintenance as needed. + Complete fabrication projects to improve plant processes. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED. + 1 year of relevant work experience in maintenance. + Willing and able to work in a variety of areas including field, plant, and warehouse. + Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated areas, and stand and sit for extended periods. + Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions. + Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting. + Willingness and ability to work shiftwork and overtime hours, including weekend work required during seasonal peaks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General maintenance experience. + Machine maintenance experience. + Mechanical aptitude. + Troubleshooting skills. + Experience in production, mechanical repair, and hydraulics. + Operation and inspection skills. + Experience with hand tools, construction, and HVAC systems. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and be part of a supportive and dynamic work environment. The shifts are daytime, from 6 am to 2:30 pm or 6 am to 4:30 pm, depending on whether the work week is 4 or 5 days. You will be required to work both outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions. The role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, and working in elevated areas.
