General Mechanic - Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is looking for General Mechanics that are experienced in HVAC/Refrigeration and not only, to join their Engineering team! This stunning 374 room hotel is located three miles from Las Olas Boulevard, offers a full-service spa, multiple dining options and also boasts an outdoor pool and private cabanas.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of HVAC/Refrigeration experience, combined with general knowledge of electrical, plumbing and painting and has the ability to work the ever-changing schedule of hospitality.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Shift Pattern: This is a full-time position which requires full availability to work varying shifts across weekdays, weekends and holidays.

What will I be doing?

\n

As a General Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nMaintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas\nRespond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment\nPerform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry\nConduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs\nRecord and report completed repairs and items that require further attention\n
