We're looking for the very best General Motors Technicians to join our team in Kewanee, IL.  Live, work and play in the Heartland. Wholesome living, inexpensive housing, and the very best schools. We'll pay for your relocation, we'll provide up to $10,000 as a signing bonus, we'll provide guaranteed hours, and you won't work weekends. Pay is between $36-$48 depending on experience

Responsibilities Efficiently performing maintenance and repair tasks outlined on work orders while adhering to dealership standards.Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more, following precise specifications.Providing accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs beyond the initial work order.Clearly explaining mechanical diagnoses and recommended repairs to service advisors and customers in a way that is easy to understand, avoiding overly technical language.Actively participating in formal training sessions to stay current with evolving automotive technologies and continually enhance your skills.Conducting thorough inspections and tests on new vehicles, documenting findings to ensure that any required repairs are promptly addressed. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of GM Technician experienceASE CertifiedHold a valid driver’s licenseTeam oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer serviceWorking knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
