General Nurse – Glasgow, Scotland

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record patient vital signs, progress, and symptoms. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Degree in Nursing and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Proven experience working as a General Nurse, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting. Sound knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. PVG Certificate would be an advantage
