**Now Hiring General Operator's** 1st and 3rd shift available Starting pay $19.00/1st and $20.25/3rd El paso, Illinois The Packaging Contractor is responsible for operating equipment on the Dry Herbicide packaging lines and carrying out various tasks assigned by the shift leader. This role demands a solid understanding of operations to ensure the equipment is used safely and efficiently. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work either an 8-hour fixed shift or a 12-hour shift, depending on business needs. Daily responsibilities include general housekeeping, loading containers onto conveyors, packing and stacking boxes onto pallets, and operating stretch wrap machines. If you are detail-oriented and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** + Follow principles, procedures, and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment. + Participate in Root Cause analysis as required. + Perform immediate response activities as assigned by Immediate Response Leader. + Adhere to safety and standard operating procedures/practices. + Perform basic process equipment troubleshooting. + Load/unload materials and freight, final product packaging, moving and mixing raw materials, and transfer to vessels. + Engage in warehousing activities including forklift operation and collecting samples. **Essential Skills** + Previous agricultural experience is a plus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma/GED + Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform work involving repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation + Forklift operation experience (preferred) + Basic computer proficiency (preferred) + Experience in or around manufacturing (preferred) **Why Work Here?** This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment where safety and efficiency are prioritized.
