Job Title: General Machine Operator

2nd Shift - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with a $1.00/hour shift differential from Monday to Friday;

1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM from Monday to Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent General Machine Operator responsible for managing and tending to 1 to 3 Injection Mold Machines. Operators will start with one machine and gradually take on more responsibility as they are trained on different machines. The role involves visual inspection, packaging, and minor sub-assemblies depending on the product being run.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and tend to 1 to 3 Injection Mold Machines.Perform visual inspection and packaging of products.Conduct minor sub-assemblies as required.Operate a sonic welder for welding smoothie cups or inserting magnets.Trim any excess flash from products.Heat up resin to meet quality standards.Change over machines for different products, running 3 to 5 different products throughout the week.Essential SkillsExperience in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to follow work instructions.Proficiency in visual inspection of products.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with injection mold machines is a plus and may lead to direct placement.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a very clean manufacturing environment focused on plastic injection molding. The workplace is drama-free and not physically demanding. There are around 20 people in production on each shift. Mandatory overtime is required when posted, with first and second shifts working an extra 8 hours on the weekend, and third shift working an extra 8 hours on Friday. Shift details include: 3rd Shift - 11 PM to 7 AM with a $2.00/hour shift differential from Sunday to Thursday; 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with a $1.00/hour shift differential from Monday to Friday; 1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM from Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
