**Job Title: General Production** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team in a General Production role. This is a six-month contract position with openings in two different assembly departments. The shifts are from 6 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. The position offers a pay rate of $20/hr. **Responsibilities** + Read work instructions and blueprints. + Utilize hand tools and hand sanders. + Dip sheets into a product to harden them, bake, and measure them. + Check for defects and ensure quality standards. + Package products according to order sheets and prepare for shipping. + Lift up to 50 lbs. + Operate a table saw and overhead crane. + Work with tubes used to build pumps and large parts for aluminum pumps. + Use a paint gun to paint parts and work with cement to assemble graphite tools. + Wear a respirator for more than 50% of the job. **Essential Skills** + Experience reading blueprints and work instructions. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Experience in manufacturing (minimum 2 years). + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Must have steel toe boots. + Must be open to wearing a respirator. + Comfortable working in a graphite environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Carpentry experience. + Experience using hand saw and hand sander. + Experience operating overhead crane and tow motor. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with an average tenure of over 15 years, reflecting our positive work culture and environment. Employees must be open to shaving facial hair to wear a respirator. The work involves both sitting and standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
