**Job Title: General Production** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated individual with a strong track record of great attendance to join our custom rubber compounding and mixing facility. This position requires a willingness to work in a dirty manufacturing environment. Our facility has been providing high-quality compounds and service for half a century. **Responsibilities** + Palletizing rubber + Cross-training in batching and as a mill helper (unloading rubber after being mixed) + Taking long strips of manufactured rubber from the production line and weaving them onto a pallet for shipment + Creating organized pallets of rubber by weaving back and forth neatly and cross weaving on top of itself multiple times + Batching: pulling ingredients/compounds and weighing them based on work orders to create rubber + Assisting the mixer + Unloading the mixer for rubber to be cut into specified strips **Essential Skills** + Previous production experience + Go-getter mentality **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift operation is a plus, especially sit-down propane forklift (potential to operate after being hired on direct) **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term opportunity with access to a great benefits package once hired on direct. Expect exposure to rubber dust, which will get on your clothes by the end of the day.
