Machine Operator - Waukesha, WIJob Description

Operate various machines such as die cutting, laminating, slitting, laser cutting, and more. Perform 75% machine operating and 25% inspection using micrometers and calipers. Load machine with specific roll or product based on work order. Set-up press according to established guidelines, ensuring safety and job requirements. Monitor production quality throughout the run, adjust cutting depth, and ensure clean cuts. Complete jobs according to ticket specifications, including producing overruns and production samples. Troubleshoot and correct problems, communicate effectively with other departments, and ensure accurate and timely production reporting. Comply with all safety rules and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Clean, well-organized, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with mild noise.

Environment

AM shift = 6am-6pm rotating

PM shift = 6pm-6am rotating

Large, clean manufacturing facility. Working mostly independently but sometimes in small groups of 2-3.

Pay and Benefits

$20-24/ hour

Room for advancement

Annual reviews/raise opportunities based on performance and attendance

2nd shift Premium = $1.50/hour

3rd shift Premium = $2/hour

Once hired on, employees earn up to 3 weeks of accrued PTO per year, prorated based on when they start in the year. They earn 4.62 hours every 2 weeks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
