SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for directing and training supervisors in all facets including but not limited to production paperwork, yields, time and attendance, discipline, motivation, turnover, absenteeism, safety, problem solving, etc. Accountable for areas of performance, safety, quality, workers compensation, turnover, bid movement, Team Member morale, and other duties as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Checking daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer ordersEnsuring every position is filled before start-up of production lineOverseeing Team Member morning exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomicsEnsuring all machinery is performing to the highest standard possible.Ensuring all workstations have passed USDA InspectionPromoting safety daily as well as through monthly safety meetingsEnsuring accurate shipments, rotation of inventory, and proper coding of products.Additionally, knowing and communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team MembersProviding encouragement to Team Members to build the best team possibleCritical ability to perform the human relations functions such as training Retaining, and counseling on personal and professional problems.Overseeing various processing operations and working with other supervisors in solving problemsKeeping records of reworked or returned productProviding continuous education on the importance of qualityPerforming other responsibilities as the need arises
