**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Production Worker to join our team. You will be working in a production shop operating a Roll-Forming machine or Polishing machine to create metal seals of various sizes. This role involves both repetitive tasks and opportunities for cross-training in different positions. **Responsibilities** + Operate Roll-Forming machines to create circular metal seals by loading sheet metal and using a foot pump. + Polish metal seals by hand or using a machine, ensuring parts are polished appropriately without over-sanding. + Read job orders carefully and follow directions accurately. + Perform quality inspection (QI) of parts as they are manufactured. + Handle metal seals ranging from hand-sized to up to 8 feet in diameter. + Be willing to cross-train and move between rolling and polishing tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience in manufacturing or production environments. + Aptitude for math and experience with measuring tools such as calipers. + Good vision and ability to perform cosmetic quality inspections of parts. + Ability to work independently and own the production process. + Capability to read instructions and follow directions efficiently. + Enjoyment of simple and repetitive work. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to do basic math and counting. + Attention to detail and good vision to identify defects and ensure quality. + Capability to perform light-duty work, mostly sitting, with rare lifting of more than 5-10 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Our team offers a low-stress work environment where you can wear headphones and enjoy light-duty tasks. Employees typically start in building 2, where high-quantity batch parts are manufactured, while building 3 focuses on custom one-off seals.
