Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated General Production Worker for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing weld spatter, inspecting paint coverage, stacking shoes onto pallets, and filling out part labels. Maintaining Environmental, Health & Safety standards, keeping the work area clean, and adhering to all safety rules are crucial aspects of this role.
ResponsibilitiesRemove weld spatter and inspect paint coverage.Stack shoes onto pallets and fill out part labels.Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace.Keep the work area clean at all times.Work in a safe manner at all times.Demonstrate dependability and adherence to all safety rules.Operate and learn to operate various machines, including paint booths and press machines.Load and unload parts into and off the machine.Use heat codes for bundles of steel.Stand continuously for 8-12 hours.Lift 25 lbs with minimal walking.Bend, twist, and lift repetitively.Work in tight spaces.Utilize good hand/eye coordination and motor skills while working with hot steel.Perform assembly, general production, and inspection tasks using hand tools.Essential SkillsAbility to read and write.Ability to follow simple instructions.Good communication skills.Ability to work independently.Ability to work well with others.Additional Skills & QualificationsGeneral labor experience.Manufacturing experience.Experience in a paint booth.Proficiency with hand tools.Machine operation experience or willingness to learn.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our industrial work environment requires ear and eye protection at all times in production areas. You will be exposed to noisy and hot conditions. Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are mandatory. The 2nd shift operates from Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medina, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
