**Job Title: General Production Worker**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves various production tasks including stacking and banding coils, processing shipping tags, and moving products. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, be willing to train and cross-train, and possess the ability to lift heavy objects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Stack coils on skids coming off the packaging line
+ Band coils to skids and process shipping tags
+ Scan and locate finished goods into staging locations
+ Enter data in the system
+ Move ready products into and out of trucks
**Essential Skills**
+ General labor experience
+ Forklift operation
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs
+ Familiarity with computers
+ Hand tool and machine operation knowledge
+ Production experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Forklift experience is preferred but not required
+ Willingness to cross-train
+ Positive attitude and team player
+ Data entry experience

**Work Environment**
This position operates Monday through Friday, with initial training on the 1st shift (6am-2pm) for about 6 weeks. Eventually, the shift will move to the 2nd shift (1:30pm-9:30pm).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pawcatuck, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
