**Job Title: General Production Worker - 3rd Shift** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker on the 3rd shift, you will be responsible for removing weld spatter, inspecting paint coverage, stacking shoes onto pallets, and filling out part labels. You will maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace, keep the work area clean at all times, and work in a safe manner while demonstrating dependability and adherence to all safety rules. **Responsibilities** + Remove weld spatter and inspect paint coverage + Stack shoes onto pallets and fill out part labels + Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace + Keep work area clean at all times + Work in a safe manner at all times + Operate various machines and hand tools + Load and unload parts into and off the machine + Use heat codes for bundles of steel **Essential Skills** + Machine Operation experience or willingness to learn + Ability to stand continuously for 8-12 hours + Ability to lift 25 lbs with minimal walking + Ability to bend, twist, and lift repetitively + Good hand/eye coordination and motor skills + Ability to work in tight places + Assembly and general production skills + Experience with hand tools and inspection **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read and write + Good communication skills + Ability to follow simple instructions + Ability to work independently and with others **Why Work Here?** We offer a 401k match, a pension plan for all employees, and full health coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. You will be exposed to a noisy and hot environment, and steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all times. The position is available on the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medina, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
