General Production Worker
**Job Description** - Responsible for the conversion of micro-prism films. - Manages material flow to the machines and loads film on and off machines. - Slit material to appropriate widths and lengths as required and set up and perform splices. - Follow all required ISO documentation. - Monitor machines, make adjustments on machines as needed, quick quality check to ensure product conformance. - Monitor and record pressure and ranges as required. - Process work orders in ERP systems. - Retrieve chemicals and materials needed for the process. - Enter requests in Computer Maintenance Management System. - Maintain documentation of all required machine reports. - Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. **Hard Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Experience in an industrial environment + Assembly or Machine Operating experience + Familiarity with ISO documentation + ERP systems knowledge + Computer Maintenance Management System **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Ability to follow instructions + Adaptability + Problem-solving skills + Teamwork **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Avon, Connecticut. **Work Environment** SCHEDULES: 1st- M-F 6:00am-2:00pm 2nd- M-F 2:00pm-10:00pm 3rd- Sun-Thu 10:00pm-6:00am Manufacturing floor operating on 3 shifts, operating various types of machines for the conversion of micro-prism films. Very clean, high-tech, well-lit and big open space. Adding an additional building soon that will almost double their size. Gym above the manufacturing floor able to be accessed by all employees with locker room area. PPE required: steel or composite toed shoes and safety glasses.
