**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Responsible for cleaning various floors of the plant (cannot be afraid of heights) - will walk up and down 4-5 flights of steps several times throughout shift. Shovel various forms of feed and processed soy beans that have fallen out of machines to be thrown away. Load trucks and rail cars with feed. Rotate between cleaning the facility/shoveling and production roles/machine operation. **Hard Skills** + production + labor + warehouse + construction **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa. **Work Environment** The shift schedules include an 8-hour shift on a rotational or swing schedule (i.e., seven-day swing and/or rotational). Initial onboarding hours will be 8AM-4PM, onboarding will only be first 2 days of assignment, followed by training shifts. During training the hours will be 7AM-3:30PM M-F. After training is complete, the hours will either be one of 3 shifts on a rotation of days off or will most likely start on a rotating swing shift with 2 days off and 5 days working: 2 days 11PM-7AM, 2 days 3PM-11PM, and 1 day 7AM-3PM, then 2 days off, etc. Please do not submit candidates that are not available for these hours as this is a temp to hire position and we are looking for long term. Once direct, candidates will have the opportunity to bid for a different shift if need be that works better for their schedule. Attire: casual, must wear jeans and long sleeves at all times. Will be required to wear and supply their own steel-toed boots, eye protection, ear protection, and gloves. They can wear dust masks and shields if need be. They will also be fit for a PAPRS mask when direct if need be pending which department they are in. Environment/Culture: Can get dusty since it's powdered product. Will get very hot and cold in the seasons. It is also a somewhat dark environment. If candidates have very bad allergies, this may not be the spot for them with the soy powdered product being everywhere.
