**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker, you will follow work orders and written instructions to set up and operate various machines in the plant. You will work and learn alongside other staff as you perfect your skills. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate machines for production runs + Ensure correct tooling and programs are being run for each job + Adjust machine feed and speed, change tooling, and make adjustments to machine controls during machine malfunction + Calculate machine speed and feed ratio, as well as the size and position of each cut + Use precision measuring tools + Maintain a clean and organized work area **Essential Skills** + Experience in production or manufacturing + Knowledge of machine operation + Familiarity with general labor tasks + Entry-level CNC operating skills + Ability to read and understand blueprints + Proficiency in using hand tools **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Shop math + Mechanical aptitude + Strong communication skills + Ability to work well with others **Shifts** 2nd or 3rd shift **Work Environment** The work environment is clean and climate-controlled. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eureka, Missouri. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
