**General Production Worker - Dekalb, IL** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated production line workers for our glass line. You will be responsible for maintaining production by offloading machines, hanging finished products for the painting line, inspecting the finished painted product, and stacking after inspection. This role involves lifting up to 50lbs of material at a time. **Responsibilities** + Maintain production on the glass line by keeping materials moving. + Hang steel material and offload steel from the line. + Inspect finished painted products and stack them accordingly. + Perform general labor tasks such as pulling hooks from sheets, running the spinner, driving, and unloading sheets from the glass line. + Meet efficiency goals to satisfy client needs and demands. **Essential Skills** + General labor experience + Ability to lift 50lbs + Experience with hand and power tools + Production line experience + Inspection skills + Forklift operation **Work Environment** You will work in a large manufacturing plant environment with normal exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with heavy machinery.
