**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are looking for candidates to work in a variety of positions on the manufacturing floor for about 2-3 months due to a large order from a customer. **Responsibilities** + Support production by cleaning production areas and general shop areas, cleaning tools, taking out garbage, and setting up cells. + Assemble products. + Operate machines, which may include automatic and manual chuckers, CNC lathes, vertical mills, multi-press, reamer/drill taps, testers, paint booth, and forklift. + Maintain safety and quality standards. + Ensure production flow and operations are maintained. + Keep the working environment safe and clean. + Work productively and professionally with various teammates. + Engage in daily improvement work by sharing observations and ideas. + Perform janitorial duties as needed and maintain a positive attitude at all times. **Essential Skills** + General mechanical aptitude. + Ability to stand for up to 8 hours. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to follow directions and problem solve. + Willingness to learn and work in a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production, general labor, machine operation, hand tools, packing, basic operating skills, and assembly. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading manufacturer in the natural gas industry, known for fostering a positive and supportive work environment. The work is conducted in a small machine shop with six machines and a paint line. While the facility is not heated, it does have air conditioning. The environment has an oil smell and involves working with acetone for sealant assembly lines. The machinery is older, and the facility is smaller. The dress code requires a work shirt, jeans, and steel-toe shoes.
