**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** The Sifter Associate is responsible for multi-tasking while working on four different sifters. The initial job will start with learning the different salts that run on four separate lines, including white, pink, smoked, and wet salts. Once these salts have been sifted, they will need to be moved to the work in progress (WIP) staging area. **Responsibilities** + Work with hanging, sorting, folding, and moving 2200# salt totes in and out for sifting. + Machine fill and label packaged salt totes to the required specifications (over/proper spec/unders). + Move the completed pallet to the WIP staging area and over/unders to their respective WIP staging areas. + Ensure all orders are complete, accurate, and on time for the production optical sorter department. + Make adjustments on the fly on computer screens (adjust timing, flow, screens, start and stop). + Ensure that your work area is clean and organized at all times (audit ready). + Assemble, clean, and break down equipment at the + Adhere to Good Manufacturing Processes, Food Safety Standards, and related operational procedures. + Perform other projects and duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Detail oriented + Commitment to quality + Positive attitude + Ability to stand for 8-9 hours + Ability to walk and climb stairs + Ability to lift 50-55 lbs repetitively + Experience with forklift and pallet jack operation + Experience in food production **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2-3 years of production line or manufacturing experience (preferred) + Experience with manual pallet jack + Experience with electric power jack **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
