**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and safe handling of materials within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to operate various machinery and tools. If you have a strong work ethic and are looking to grow within a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply. **Responsibilities** + Prioritize safety in all tasks. + Locate materials in the inventory racking system. + Retrieve materials as per work tickets, verifying location, size, alloy, quantities, and heat/lot. + Measure materials using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. + Deliver materials to designated areas using a forklift, side loader, and overhead crane. + Record inventory discrepancies. + Construct standard and non-standard crates, skids, and boxes using powered hand tools. + Prepare orders for shipment using scales and strapping equipment, applying appropriate shipping tags. + Verify shipped products against orders and conduct last-piece inspections. + Stage orders in the appropriate shipping areas and load trucks. + Dispose of scrap materials properly. + Follow all procedures and work instructions accurately. **Essential Skills** + Experience with warehouse operations and forklift handling. + Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 75 lbs or more. + Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. + Experience in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines for same-day delivery. + Openness to cross-training and taking on various tasks as needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in manufacturing, construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Once permanent, employees enjoy competitive wages and bonuses, including two bonus programs.
